The Story
16th Century Japan.
A land torn apart by bloodshed and conflict between regional clans.
She was known only as Ina.
Born a peasant without a family name,
she lost both parents in a village fire ordered by a ruthless General.
Rescued by the notorious "Mochi", who took her in... and trained her as a Ninja,
she joins an underground network of female spies.
Often underestimated, Mochi's pupils stole the darkest of enemy secrets.
Meanwhile, Ina was driven to sharpen her own skills... and find the General who murdered her family.
1572.
Ina and Mochi track a rival ninja to a meeting with an enemy officer.
Ina recognizes the officer's voice...
It's the man who ordered the burning of her village.
They follow him to a cliff.
Ina recalls stories of this place...
"The Bottomless Pit of Shinobi, where darkness reveals truth."
Enemy forces are closing in.
Outnumbered and surrounded, Mochi whispers to Ina:
"The stories are true. The STARS hold the key."
Mochi throws Ina over the edge and stays to fight the enemy agents, alone.
The General orders his Ninja forces to follow her down...
Their mission:
Confirm Ina's death, by any means necessary.
